We maintain strong links with Accountants, Surveyors, Engineers, IT and civil litigation specialists, should the need arise.


We are not currently accepting any new commercial instructions, due to high volumes of other work categories.

Fees will be posted here when normal service resumes.

Property Development - Finance

Acting for borrowers and lenders effecting security using both standard and non-standard documentation.

Landlord & Tenant

Creating, buying, selling and advising on all kinds of leases, including business tenancy renewals for Landlords and Tenants, Rent Review, assigning and underletting.

Tax (particularly VAT and SDLT)

Tax considerations include Stamp Duty Land Tax and Value Added Tax.


Advising on environmental waste, the application of the Use Classes Order and the effects of such matters as Tree Preservation Orders, rights of way and conservation areas on development.

Residential property investment

Buying and selling houses and flats as well as buildings for conversion for letting, to include tax planning and advice on the various Landlord & Tenant Acts as well as extension of leases.


We advise on liquor and betting licensing and can represent you in the appropriate courts if required.


We advise on employment law including TUPE, where relevant to commercial sales and purchases.

Q: Can I renew a business lease?
A. In most circumstances you will be able to do so, but there are certain circumstances where you may not, and this is a matter which you can discuss further with your Solicitor.
